Shri K Rahman Khan the Union Minister for Minority Affairs has expressed grief over the demise of His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb, the spiritual head of the Dawoodi Bohra Community.
In his message he said, His holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb was a great religious leader who during his life has contributed immensely for the poor and the needy.
As a spiritual leader he led the community to greater heights and brought about revolution in their living standards. He was not only a religious leader but also an able administrator and a social worker.
His contributions in the field of health and education are unmatched. He commanded respect from every religion and was a symbol of secularism.
His demise is a great loss to the nation and has created a vacuum which can never be filled.
May Allah rest His noble soul rest in eternal peace and give strength to the members of Dawoodi Bohra Community and to the members of His family to bear this irreparable loss.
